Tuesday, August 17, 2015 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CRANSTON, R.I. - The aromas of Naples, Italy fill “Main Street” at The Village at South County Commons in South Kingstown, R.I. Saletin Real Estate Group, the property manager, announced the much-anticipated opening of Pasquale’s Pizzeria Napoletana, a 2,400 s.f. eatery located at 60 South County Commons Way. President Jeffrey Saletin said “the restaurant’s warm open space features rustic flooring, exposed brick, black walnut countertops and industrial-style fixtures,” he said. “The renovation made this the ideal space for friends and families to gather over an artisan, hand-crafted pizza from owner/chef Pasquale Illiano who has been trained in ‘Vera Pizza Napoletana’ (‘True Neapolitan Pizza’).
Born in Naples, Italy, Illiano’s love and passion for cooking has led to the success of his two Westerly restaurants, Vetrano’s Restaurant and Vitorria’s N.Y. Pizza. Illiano said customers from Narragansett and South Kingstown had been pleading with him to open a restaurant in the area. “The Village at South County Commons is a perfect fit,” he said. “Its convenient location on Route 1 and mix of businesses and residences on site make this the best spot in South County for my new restaurant.”
The Village is part of South County Commons, a 150-acre mixed-use development that includes a hotel, luxury apartments, condominiums, and assisted-living. Among The Village’s nearly 70 tenants are restaurants, retailers, service providers, medical practices, and professionals offices, as well as spas, a bank, a preschool, an eight-screen cinema, and fitness center.
